I received the sample package after I was shade matched and I received several shades to choose from based on my photos. I basically could use all the foundation colors as they blend beautifully. Very creamy texture. I would say it's a light coverage but I think with a color correction shade underneath would be helpful with my rosacea. It did not come with the sample pack but I'm sure they would have provided one if I asked! I'm happy with the wear time with the setting spray. It really did stay on for the day into the eve. I did have to retouch some creasing under my eyes but it was as easy fix. I think next time I'll lightly set it with powder to help with the minimal creasing. I'm 55 and have dry mature skin for reference. I did prep my face with my skincare routine and tried the face oil that came in my kit. It had an earthy scent that I didn't mind. It applied non greasy and left a nice glow before I applied the make up. I only gave it 4 stars because of the light coverage and creasing but I'm still experimenting.

The sample kit has truly blown me away! I am a fan of cream based makeup but the brand I was using started to feel a bit thick and not look quite as good. Oh, & the sample lasts forever! Piper Blue came up in a Google search for clean make-up. Tired of spending so much money on foundations that never match their claims, I ordered a sample kit with the help of one of the customer service associates. I feel like she went above and beyond with her answers to my questions in in finding the perfect shade. Having been in this situation a million times with strangers trying to tell me my perfect shade online, I was skeptical. My order came beautifully packaged like they actually cared about what they were sending. I have received samples from other places that were thrown in an envelope and mailed. Couldn't wait to try it. The rep I spoke with was a hundred percent spot on with her color recomendation. The foundation itself is freaking amazing. You really don't have to use a lot to cover your face. The blush that came with this color palette was absolutely gorgeous (although the name escapes me). I used the bronzer as eyeshadow and it was equally stunning. The sample set also came with setting spray (which is amazeballs) and a serum that I just started using that made beautiful makeup even better if that is even possible, and a setting powder which I usually don't bother with but actually wound up loving it. So, I looked great in my bathroom mirror, in my rearview mirror but there was one other mirror that I needed to check out before I made the purchase. The fitting room mirror at Target.
